40 interns + 20 volunteers + 3 staff + 60 farm shares + 1 God = Transformation
Our 2021 internship for teenagers has begun. We’re hoping you will read this update and (1) pray for us, (2) consider purchasing a farm share and (3) consider volunteering.
Paid Work & Soft Skills Training Research shows that work programs that include BOTH (1) paid work and (2) soft skills training are effective at improving all sorts of outcomes. Our interns are paid for their work on the Hope for Suffolk farm AND they attend weekly workshops on personal and community development taught from a biblical perspective. They receive community service hours for their participation in our workshops. Through the hands-on learning experiences we provide, we seek to equip our teenage interns to thrive in God’s design for them in relationship with God, others, creation and themselves. Pray with us for our interns by name using the list below. |
